I am not sure if you are trying to wire this for 120 volt or 240 volt

I would assume 240 volt, however where you are from makes a big difference

Home electrical systems are different in the US

That might be why you haven't really gotten any response.

I have much experience with electrical and see what i can find out

but first let me know where you are from and tell me what type of electrical you have in your house

Ok after some checking i believe I can help you

First living in the uk you have what they call a type g

One wire on top and two on the bottom

The one on the top is the hot wire

The two on the bottom are neutral and earth ground

Now before I can go any further you need to tell me how you want to wire this thing as it is important for the wire hook up.

You can either hook it up to be controlled by a wall switch

Or you can wire so that a draw string controls off an on

Let me know and then we can proceed

If you have any more questions feel free to ask

1. Find a cord with plug attached
2. Strip wires so they are exposed
3. Make sure you know which wire goes to terminal on plug
4. Remember top terminal is the live wire
5. The bottom two are neutral & earth ground (Essentially these two are ground)
6. You will tie these two wires together
7. Install switch on the live wire (to accomplish this cut the live wire assuring you have some left over. the length will depend on where you want to mount switch)
8. Attach one end of wire to switch terminal and the other piece you just cut to the other end of switch
9. The wire that you have just attached to switch goes to terminal one on the fan
10. The two wires you tied into each will go to terminal 2 on the fan
11 when you plug in the plug the fan will operate controlled by the switch

I hope this helps
