Help with grow setup

I've considered the DIY option. It does look interesting. No heatsinks required for that? I may actually do something like that. Only problem is they are out of stock right now.

What about the QB288? Its in stock and goes to 150W. What driver should I get if I go with 4 of those? They would need heatsinks, correct (which look to be out of stock)?

Depending on how long it takes the heat sinks to become available, could I run 4 x QB288 at lower watts to start and then turn up when i get the heatsinks? I'll be starting this from seeds so I'll have some time before I need full power.

yes, the 288 can run upto 60w NO heatsink

Ok, so I am considering 4 x QB288 and run them at 60W so 240W to start, then up to full power when heatsinks are available. I've emailed about the heatsink availability. Still not sure what I'm going to get. Lots of options that's for sure. Thank you for your help so far.

When buying the QB288 it shows as 2 boards for $150. Is that 2 150W boards, or 2 that equal 150W? Anyone know? I emailed the company but haven't gotten a reply yet.

**edit**
Got a reply from the company that answered my question. It is 2 separate 150w boards.

What about using a HLG-600H-54B to power 4 QB288 boards? That is basically going to be a HLG-600H with separate panels/heatsinks instead of all together. Would that be better than using 2 of the other drivers you pointed to? Having it all run on one would be nice. Would need the potentiometer as well to dim, but I'd still save some money as the HLG-600H is around $1000CAD + shipping/duties

Got 4 of the 288 boards with heatsinks ordered. Now what driver should I go with? If I get a HLG-600H-54B how easy would that be to setup, and would I need to buy a potentiometer?

Went with 4 x QB288 boards + 2 x HLG-320H-C2100B drivers. Could not find the other boards you mentioned in stock anywhere. This is all that I need besides whatever I'm going to use to hang them? Cost around $750CAD for this including shipping. I have tent, fan, filter, and everything else for growing already. What kind of yields should I be able to get once this setup is up and running assuming I fill up the 4x4 tent?

Am I wasting my money here? Does anyone have a better suggestion? I did like the option of the 8 smaller boards, but I couldn't find them in stock anywhere that would ship to Canada.

Would you prefer the one driver instead of two? Is there any advantage to having two besides maybe having one still going if one were to fail?

More voltage & thats correct if 1 driver fails then you will still have light unless u got spare HPS then go with 600w driver.
