600w $600CAD DIYAnyone else? If you had $1000 CAD to spend what light setup would you go with? Either from options already mentioned, or something else completely.
thats correct, NO heatsink needed if running boards @ 75wI've considered the DIY option. It does look interesting. No heatsinks required for that? I may actually do something like that. Only problem is they are out of stock right now.
yea 288 need heatsinks & use same driver as i already mentionedWhat about the QB288? Its in stock and goes to 150W. What driver should I get if I go with 4 of those? They would need heatsinks, correct (which look to be out of stock)?
yes, the 288 can run upto 60w NO heatsinkDepending on how long it takes the heat sinks to become available, could I run 4 x QB288 at lower watts to start and then turn up when i get the heatsinks? I'll be starting this from seeds so I'll have some time before I need full power.
ask @Stephenj37826 or @robincnn if u can preorder the QB132 because they sell like hotcakes but they try restock asap,Went with 4 x QB288 boards + 2 x HLG-320H-C2100B drivers. Could not find the other boards you mentioned in stock anywhere. This is all that I need besides whatever I'm going to use to hang them? Cost around $750CAD for this including shipping. I have tent, fan, filter, and everything else for growing already. What kind of yields should I be able to get once this setup is up and running assuming I fill up the 4x4 tent?
Am I wasting my money here? Does anyone have a better suggestion? I did like the option of the 8 smaller boards, but I couldn't find them in stock anywhere that would ship to Canada.
go with the A version drivers cuz they have built-in dimming on driver with adjustable screw.Got 4 of the 288 boards with heatsinks ordered. Now what driver should I go with? If I get a HLG-600H-54B how easy would that be to setup, and would I need to buy a potentiometer?
More voltage & thats correct if 1 driver fails then you will still have light unless u got spare HPS then go with 600w driver.Would you prefer the one driver instead of two? Is there any advantage to having two besides maybe having one still going if one were to fail?
