Help with Light

Well I plan to start a small indoor garden to grow 1 plant at a time. Ive done a little bit of research and found a light on ebay. The price is good and its has a switchable bulb feature for mh and hps. Mh for veg and hps for bloom. I know there are alot of different makers of lights so my question is, is this type of light for that price and free shipping a good deal,or should i go for something a little more expensive?
Thanks in advanced.

Thanks for the advice. The light you posted looks nice too for only a little more money cant beat that. This will be my first "real" grow besides experimenting a little in the past, so I want to start off small for now just going to be running one plant in a DWC system. The light I posted looks ok and is a good deal but the reflector looks kind of cheap. So didnt know if I should buy this or go for something a little more nicer being my first grow.

shit go with it if it reflects light who cares if it "looks" cheap and I would do more than one plant if ur starting with non feminized seeds cause u never know if its a male or a female so it will improve your chances of getting a female if u grow more than one but if ur using clones or feminized seeds u should be straight but even feminized seeds have a ratio any where from 70 to 30 or 80 to 20 female male ratio

Say I did want to go with a couple to a few plants. How many plants do you think I can fit under a 250 watter. Honestly its going to be seeds Ive saved over the years so wont know if its sativa or indica. Also I will be topping and Lst to keep the plant hopefully small and bushy. As to the light thanks for the advice im going to be getting that one soon.

I'd change from Electronic to Magnetic ballast and up the Watts to 400 or 600 depending on what you need.

Im with jgrows4u on this one. Does it reflect light? Of course and thats all you really need. Some of the other products like the sun systems (complete systems) are bulky and weigh a considerable amount more cuz' the ballast is built in. Although if heat is an issue (tight space no open doors) you may want to check into an air cooled rflector or the such. Either that or setup great airflow in the spot.
