Help with me plants

Hey y'all

I have been growing me plants in a hydro kit for around 15 days with all chems and a metal-hay light supplied from my local ali bongo's and its all going pretty well.

Recently I have found that some of the lower leaves are starting to wither and are turnin slightly yellow and now the tips are turnin brown!
The new leaves and the leaves near the top are looking really good and have a rich green colour and are nice and healthy.

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the ol situation?
I will post some pics up later this eve if i can find me camera software:?

Hey Hey 420

Cheers for helping out a beginner!

Right so I got me kit set up its around 79 degrees in there.
The 400w metal halide lamp is a good 2 1/4 ft away from the top of the tallest plant.
The PH is around 6 - 6.4, im growing in 5 rockwool cubes
humidity is around 60-70?
The guy in the store gave me the kit and said this is all i need, he said to keep the younglings on half dosage till 2 1/2 weeks in.

The nutrients i have - "LEAF A" and "LEAF B".
Put the same ammount of both in

Nutrient A
(3.90-0-2.87) Starting dose 15ml into 5ltrs of water (but I have it half)

Nutrient B
(0.35-0.35-3.20) Same as above

I may be doing things completly wrong but thats why i need you guys!:?

Looks like over fertilization to me, I'd cut back some more on them.

The deformed leafs in pic 1 is what makes me say this.

Anyone one else?

They really do look overferted. Something else is wrong too. They look like they are over watered. They just look sad and droopy. Its like they arent getting enough oxygen or something. What kind of system is that? An aero with rockwool starter cubes? Or are you just growing in the rockwool? Prolly overwatering the rockwool. It works good but you cant water it all the time. Once a day is too much usually. That stuff likes to breath like soil.

Ah ok...
That may be it then.
Its just i thought that the rockwool cubes looked a little dry.
I usually water em bout twice a day but I will stop now.
Thanks for the help guys, really appreciate it

well i do not think u are overfert them i think u are under watering them. i use flood and drain and i find u nee to ater them three times a day in bud here is my schedule
lights on at 7 am off at 7 pm
water them 1 hour after the lights come on 3 hours before the lights go out and once inbetween
for me i is at 8 am 12 noon and 4 pm
try for ur humidity to be between 50 and 60% more towards 50% any higher then 60% and u may run into mold powdery mildew (both very hard to controll)
try for a ph of 5.3 tio 6.3 but try to maintain around 5.7

are u using tap water with ur ferts?

how do u water? with pump or by hand?

to me looks like a magnesium deficiency. cause by too much chlorine and floride in tap water. easily fixed by addin epsom salts to the fert mix 1 tblsp of epsom salts per gallon of fert solution. or 1 tsp per liter of water for a foliar spray

hope some of this helps
