Help with my StealthBoxV1.0 [Looking for advance growers]

What is up fellow growers.
Im creating this thread because im brand spankin new to growing and want to start off small and with a stealthbox. I also hate to tell you guys that ive spent 0 dollars on this seeings as i have no money. I should be getting around 50 on friday which i plan on spending on soil, nutes, and might buy some cali red or haze seeds from a friend. you can see all the materials i have as of now in the pictures below. im looking for all good growers and all others to just help out, leave comments, advice. Im ready to soak up everything.



here are the light bulbs im thinking of using. please remember that i have lmitited money and i had to uhhh "burrow" all my supplys from my local store.


now here is the box im growing in. its apx. 16inches tall x 6 inches wide x 11 inches lenghth wise. pretty small i know but this grow is more for learning purposes as i wont be able to plant and grow serious plants until i move, and once the weather warms up. (2 months or so)

the box will be sealed better and i need suggestions on what to line the inside with.


Now for the noob questions and information.

How much lumens/watts would i need for that limited space?
I was thinking that my 14w CFL can handle 1 small plant. also im not 100 posative that its 14w, it says it in fine print on the bulb but i got it from a friend so im not sure.

What should i line the inside of my box with?

Is it ok for me to use miracle grow Bloom Boost with such a small space?
i can list the chemicals and there % in the mix if nedded ( or ill take a picture of the box )

Will i need some sort of carbon filter for such a small plant or do you think its stench wont be powerful enough?

im doing this grow to learn the basics of growing so that when the season comes around i can actualy grow for a profit and for personal smoke. Any help and advice would greatly help and i hope you all have a blazed out day

i added the light socket and full sealed it off so no light gets in.
still need to know whats a good cheap liner.

I really dont think that box is big enough. If i was you i would take the 50 bucks and buy an 1/8. It will probobly be better quality and maybe quantity than you will get with the current item you have. Read the FAQs. the link is at the top of the page. Read then read again and again!!! Good Luck

thank you willgrow. im probaly going to move the grow to my friends house and ill be taking care of it and im going to see if i can either do a cabinet or a bigger box. but for now im going to try my box out just to get some seedlings to sprout. im going to be lining it tommorow and planting my cracked seeds. ill try and get a picture of what its going to be tommorow.



and to kush and oscar, im not doing this for money. im not doing it to get an ounce. im doing it to start a few plant indoors and move them out side in a month. but i want to bud one plant just to see how much i can get out of my box with a 10 inch plant. if i get one nugget out of this i dont care. just waiting on the outdooor season

theres no way a 14w cfl would burn a carboard box thats going to be fully lined.

As far as I know card board boxes are pretty cheap..........so if I was you, I would at least buy a bigger cardboard box. Dank nugs aint grown in a shoe box man

1 if your starting stick with CFL lights
Rooting agent I would go with Rootech
food I would get 20-20-20
I might go with a powerbar so that you can run up to 9 to 10 things at once on 1 plug

We aint trying to bash your grow man. If you are determined to try it, by all means grow away! Like someone else said, atleast get a slightly larger cardboard box... atleast.

There's a million things you could do and I suggest just reading up a little on what type of lights, their effects, spaces, plant sizes, ventalation ideas, mediums, pot sizes, so on.... before you take foot. Your setting yourself up for failure, not saying that you will fail but in most cases an X-Box cardboard box will simply not cut it. Even if you do get a light mounted in that box some how.. you will need decent ventilation as all the heat the light does produce wil be trapped in the box, not to mention that light will not produce even half ass results alone... even for a small plant. Either way you go, good luck.

Rootech is an rooting agent, I rooted a clone that has about 3mm roots already on day 4 in water

titanium i know that im not going to grow super piff buds. im just doing this as an experiament to tide me over till the outdoor season.

im probaly going to ditch the box and move it to a cabinet in a buddys house. ill talk to him and see whats up with that and ill get back to you guys. and i already got the light mounted in there and i was planning on sticking a computer fan to suck air out but i guess im just going to give up on the box.

i'm pissed off that my cab is too small(3'x1,5x3' tall)and i'm warried about that i'll get poor yelds, but this is ridiculous.
