Help with Mycelial Colonization

Hey everyone. I just got a Sunbeam King Size Heating Pad to keep my colonizing bags up to temp. I have it on the "Warm" setting (there's Warm, Low, Medium, and High) and I put an electronic thermometer in between the bag and the pad. Unfortunately, the temp is at 94.4 F as of right now and it continues to rise. Do I need to lower the temp and, if so, how would I do that since it seems that I'm on the lowest setting? +rep for any useful information.

That seems too hot to me.. I never use bag but ive used jars and one time i let em get to 105 for about 4 days and all jars molded... Dont know exactly what caused it by i blame the heat..

U could lower the temp several way.. Try using some thick blankets on top of heating pad or maybe an old pillow...

105 F is the temp that psychedelic fungus dies at so that may be why. Thanks for the idea. I'll try a towel and see how that works.
