Hi everyone! This is my first post on here. Been researching for months now on growing organically. I have some questions now that I hope can get answered. This is also my first grow.
Outdoor questions:
1. What would be a good soil mix for an outdoor guerilla grow? I will start plants indoors and will be transplanting outside once ready. I would want a soil mix that holds a lot of water as it is dry and hot here. I have been reading and read about polymer crystals and mulching. Any more info you guys got on this? I want to water the plants as little as possible.
2. What would I use for nutes for a guerilla grow keeping it organic and low maintenance?
3. What strains would you reccomend I grow? This outside grow will be harvested and sold for rent. That being said I would want a strain that...
1. Outdoor Strain
2. BIG yield
3. A good quality smoke.(Does not need to be the greatest as I will be selling almost all if not all of the harvest. Just dank enough to get a good price per ounce)
4. A strain that will grow as fast as possible.
The sun comes out around 8am and sets around 7:30pm. It stays like this throughout the whole year. So I will be starting them inside maybe for a month and then take outside. If there is a better way please let me know!
Indoor Grow: Indoor grow will be in a cabinet about 3.5-4 ft high, 2ft wide and 2 ft. deep. This will be a little grow to grow maybe 2 plants at a time. This will be for my personal smoke so if anyone has suggestions on the best strain they had PLEASE send me links! Box will have pc fans as exhaust and intake. Also a couple inside to blow air around. Lights will be cfl fixture made similar to the fixture from the book "Grow 8oz of bud for less than 100$". Now the questions.
1. What type of soil mix should i use for this indoor grow? could I use same as outdoor mix? Unlike my outdoor needs, these plants will be checked on constantly throughout the day.
2. Would a passive intake let smells of marijuana out if I have a exhaust fan?
3. Anyone have links or tips on making a diy air filter for a pc fan? or any tips to control smell in a small cabinet?
