Help with root formation

I was wondering what the best nute is that makes roots thrive...my last grow the roots were very sad looking, any ideas or suggestions would be helpful thank you!

Any balanced NPK fertilizer will grow roots. Your root issues were probably from either a poor medium or watering incorrectly (either with the incorrect volume or incorrect frequency).

Using soil and fox farm nutrients, i mean i had nice buds and the smoke was good, but when i pulled them i was horrified to see that there was very little root growth.l...there were more roots in my cloning pots then there were on the potted plants...just seemed freakin weird to me, any ideas?
