Help with seeded buds!

Hey fam!

I have a few plants on which i pollinated a few branches with pollen from a CBD strain.

My plants are on day 40-45 (somewhere around there) of flower, and the buds are developing beautifully. But the Seeded buds seem to be dying... Their leaves have a lighter color, like if they had a deficiency and for the past few days i've noticed dead leaves on those buds.

Is this normal? I've never made seeds before, and i'd just like to know what's going on...

Everything else about the plants seems normal. The unpollinated buds are firm, smelly and full of vigor...

When pollinated, the pistols at the pollination sites will turn color or darken quickly and the calyx or "bud" may turn a darker color. The calyx or bud will swell at the base in a seed shaped pattern. Toward the very end, this seed pod calyx may split open.

Here are the pics! You can see the seeded buds have dying leaves and yellower leaves than the not seeded ones.

95% of my foliage looks happy and healthy, it's only the seeded buds that show this problem... What could this be?

Did you notice the dead leaves on some of the calyxes? like if the bud was falling appart
When MJ plants go into that last stages of reproduction. They drain all the available energy and nutrient from the surrounding branch foliage. Your plant, is doing this.

Root nutrient has almost nothing to do with seed production. It is almost purely synthesized from remaining leave and bud foliage.

Your plant looks sativa dominate and is showing pollinated sativa characteristics.

DO NOT pull the seeds yet, some have a ways to go and you will not get the premium seeds you desire. The longer you let it go the more viable seeds you will produce.

Great job!
