whats all the stuff i need to get started organic wise:?:
.
Stillhigh..... I recommend the following tools to get started.

(1) five gallon bucket
(1) cheap aquarium air pump / air stone
(1) old pillow case (tea ingredient holder or filter)
(1) measuring cup
(1) old spoon or fork - for fluffing or scraping
(1) small hand shovel
(1) one gallon watering jug or can
(8) three gallon pots (square - if you can find them)
(1) pack of 18 ounce plastic cups (for starting plants)
(1) small awl or sharp pointed punch (for making drainage holes)
a nail also works...

& the following items / amendments... :

(1) package of Jiffy peat pellets or Rapid Rooters or a small bag or Jiffy Seed Starting mix. All are excellent for starting seeds in.
(1) five pound bag of worm castings
(1) large bag (or small bale) of sphagum peat moss
(1) small bag of Pertilite
(2) bags (25 #) of finished Compost (steer manure)
(1) pound of High Nitrogen Bat Guano or Seabird Guano
or (1) pound of composted chicken or rabbit manure
(1) pound of High Phosphorus Bat Guano or Seabird Guano
(1) 12 oz bottle of Brer Rabbit Molasses (next to pancake syrup at the grocery store)

Mix up your soil as follows : 50 percent compost, 30 percent peat moss, 10 percent Pertilite, 10 percent worm castings.

This will make a light fluffy mix, that will hold water, but drain well also. The Bat Guanos, Chicken or Rabbit Manure will be for teas to feed with or for top dressing. Either way works. The Molasses is also a good cheap source of NPK with trace minerals.
