I think it depends on your surrounding area. Is your plant gonna stand out like "Dog's balls", because she is yellowing on her lower branches? If that is your worry, I'd just go ahead and pull the leaf off. Especially if your plant is getting up in age? It won't hurt it at all and will only cause minimal stress.
You main worry is detection, not if your plant is dying. It's normal for plant to start throwing off yellow leaves around the time your plant is in it's second or third week of flowering. Don't loose sleep, it's the normal process of your beauty.
