just ondering if there were any good nutes that you could get at any store like wal-mart or somethin like that....also what is the rule of thumb on when to start flowering stage??? i know these questions have probably been asked about a million times but i dont have time to go through all the threads... also is a HPS light good for flowering??? firts timer so be nice...haha

i'll tell you now if you don't have time to go through threads you don't have time for your plants. don't even bother just go buy your swag from the dealer down the street.

actually i do have time for my plants....its just that i have to access the forum from my phone cause my comp is broke and i aint usin my parents so they can see that im on this site...so dont jump to conclusions there bud...sorry for the inconvenience...thought this forum was to help not bash!!

Well it's the way i read you question then. I personally have spent hours on here trying to find out what I need to do. The nutes you find at walmart aren't gonna be the best stuff in the world and if you use to much your gona burn the hell out of your plants. You can go into flowering at any point after you have a root system. hope this helps

hps are good for flowering but u have to bear in mind unless it is cool tubed ur gona have to keep it at a distance away from ur plants. flowering can be induced at any time really, best thing to think of this rule: plants can grow up to 2-3 times the size they were b4 they go into flowering. work out wats gona be the best height for ur grow area. flowering is induced by turning light to 12/12 just incase ya didnt know. as for nutes i would get a well known recomended brand such as fox farm, bio-bizz or cann-bio. hope this helps.

thanks for the reply...yeah my plants are about 14 inches tall and are lookin great...havent really had any problems except for my Ph dropping..i took care of that though...i have two HPS lights already which i will probably start flowering with next week...i got the lights on a timer set at 18 on and 6 off...and yeah i know aout 12 and 12..thanks though...any other tips are appreciated..thanks

how many plants do u currently have then?

i currently have 4 plats going...2 wite satin and 2 hash berry
