I need help my plant looks like shit and just a couple of days ago it looked fine. It's budding and its in a rockwool cube which is in a pot which has soil aroudn the cube filing up the rest of the pot. Im using 8x26 watt cfl and im using fox farm grow big and i've been checking the ph and all that. I don't know whats wrong with it. Temperature seems find too and I've got a fan blowing in there.

looks all wilted...did you forget to water it? are you watering too much? let the soil become, almost, dry before watering. could also be heat stress, it looks 'cooked'.
give us better photos...closer, we really don't need to see the walls, pot, bench, lights...and whatnot. and tell us what the temp, humidity, ph and whatever else comes to mind, is...

oh, I just found a highly probable cause...it's root bound. how long has it been in that pot? could need to be transplanted into a larger one...but I can't tell the size of that one...

I think I figured it out, but it was too late by the time I fixed it, the leaves were even more drooped so I just picked all of the growth off so now it is just a main stem and branches and am going to let it start over but keep it on 12/12 so it'll go straight back into flowering. What I think was wrong was the plant was suffocating because I had forgot to take the bottom part off of the plastic pot off - the part that acts as a dish and plugs up the drainage holes quite a bit and leaves the old water in along time before overflowing and draining out. So i'm going to see how it does now that i took that off. How long do you think it'll take to get some growth happening again?

oh...yer done. a pic would help to be sure, but...imo, yer done. junk it, plant a new seed, start again. it won't recover if you picked all the fan leaves and general foliage off. it has no way to convert light to food. and certainly 12/12 is not enough to rejuvenate it. also, you need the drain pan, always, but never leave the water it it. after it drains, empty that water out of the pan...if more fills it, empty it. stagnant water, draws gnats, mold, fungus...and you don't want your plant drawing that type of water back up into it's roots. I seldom give enough water to fill that pan up, just short of that amount of water.
but this is just my opinion(and it's a good, educated guess...without a pic, imo), but you should try an get others...

What about the trees that lose all their leaves in the winter? They always grow back; if that was true wouldn't they not grow back?

Looks like heat. You have way too much light on such a tiny plant. One of those can do a 6" plant with ease. Double at 12" Double at 24" Etc!

Could also be a severe watering/nute issue.

But honestly, it looks cooked.

because that is a different type of plant than cannabis. just like a pine tree is different or a poppy is different. each plant behaves differently, and requires different treatment.
but who know, maybe with 20/4 photoperiod and some nutes higher in N...it could come back...in 5-6 wks. I'd just start over...

Yeah, I'm gonna set that one to the side for it to try and regenerate its leaves and make my main project a dwc grow out of a plastic foldgers coffee can I made and see how big I can get a plant in that.

How well will 8 cfls grow a plant anyway? It seems like thats plenty to me, I wanted to know if anyone has tried growing with 8 26 watt cfls all the way through and what their results were?
