if the majority of the hairs look 75% or more orange, and the buds have swelled then you are getting close. how long have they been in flower for?

and to post a piccy just click reply twice, it will take you to a reply page, scroll down and click manage attatchments and from there you upload your photo's. would be better for people to determine for you if you could post some...

so do white hairs mean the plant is not ready ?
no, the hairs are not ur best guage to know when ur plant is ready for harvest, examining the trichomes with a hand held microscope or mag of 30X or better is ur best bet...no most all have white hairs mixed in with colored when ready to harvest, but u really can't tell by hairs alone because every strain is different.

again, we have NO way of telling where ur plants r at, harvest or no...but I wouldn't go back to fertilizing unless you had weeks to go, it "sounds" like ur 3 plants may be ready to chop & ur other 2 "may" have a couple more weeks, again, only you can judge that by checking the trichomes or if u want to go by hairs & they are all the same strain, either chop the 3 & wait on the other two OR post some pictures so we can chime in on "by sight" if we "think" they're ready.
