Im making this thread for ct growers, so we can help each other with our grows giving eachother info on places to find the best products for growing smoking or w.e. it is u wanna make known to the CT public post freely ct i wanna see how many fellow growers i have or do i stand alone? And ofcourse if u are not from ct but have information you are deff. Welcome.

I know some growers ct like myself need help so i figured this would be a good way to get to see the local talent i myself will be posting pictures and what not when my ladies sprout and grow or w.e.... (yall know what i mean)... anyways i use cfl's to grow im starting my second try now, my first batch went horribly wrong, theres a thread about it in here anyways first question would be where do you (the common ct grower) get your soil i go to home depot i just picked up some of scotts moisture control advantage potting soil im not too sure how it will go but im thinking about going back and getting this organic soil i saw called vigoro i heard it yields decent results and im not too willing to try out scotts cause i cant find anything on the moisture control potting soil any info let me know put in your opinion

Well i found out on here that people have used moisture control soil before and it has worked so im gonna try it and see what happens i put around 15-17 seeds to germ about a day ago im gonna check on them today, its just some random bag seeds from a bunch of didfrent batches so idk what ill get :/ but i will be posting on here asking questions and what not.

Ok so like i said im using the scotts moisture control potting soil and since it does have nutes what i did wasi took dirt put it in a one gallon container and flushed it with about 4 gallons of water, i then took some flushed soil and planted 2 seedlings i did the same with unflushed soil but i planted 3 of them ill have those under 24hr light till they sprout.

Alright little update here i upgraded my grow box a bit today,i picked up some flat white paint and paited the inside of my grow box, it has 2 intake on the bottom of it and one out take up top i had just gotten a thermostat and before i could put it in it broke so ill pick another one up soon but i think the temp is fine, the only issue i have is having the cfl facing down i still dont have a solution other than buying diff light fixtures and re wirring the whole thing all over (which is something i dont wanna do right now), i added like 3 more seedlings that hatched with flushed soil, i have i think 2 more seedlings that im gonna plant in some MG soil i have left over just for experimental purpises, oh i also bought a timer cheal little thing only 5$ at homedepot but works like a champ would like to hear diff opinions on organic nutes.
