I think a 3 gallon bucket is the sweet spot for most autos. You can go larger won't hurt anything. But, you will use less consumables and most autos don't get too large anyway. 3 gallon will support a 4'+ plant. You can go smaller as well but, it may cause you to have to water more often I think later on. Check out lucasformula.com. You have the right nutes to do that. Read the whole thread.

Thanks for the feedback. My grow area for now will be the 3' kush cabinet. So would it be better to go with 2 gal since I'm limited on grow space? I will be using the 300 watt mars hydro led (60x5).

Oh yeah with that small set up you will be fine with a 2.
