Hempy Growers

After a lot of back and forth deciding between a DWC and Hempy, I decided to go with Hempy buckets.

My question is, if I use a 5 gal bucket, am I going to want to start the seeds in a small cup first then transplant to the 5 gal?

I have a hard time believing a seed started in a 5 gal bucket could ever reach the bottom, any feedback or suggestions is much appreciated.

I had to make this decision too. I put mine in smaller cups to start, but I wish I wouldn't have, those roots grow very quickly, I guarantee they will reach the bottom of the bucket, I would use it. Even if the roots don't reach the bottom, that would be a good thing. No wrong with the 5gal man.

yeah just go with the 5 gal, saves having to transplant later

if you start in a large pot the growth rate is slower from my exp. On my second (And last!)grow now and started in big pot, yawnnnnn so slow. Flood and drain is the only way imo!
