Sorry, I have to assume your lights are going to be a spectacular failure, but in the interest of science and potentially being proven wrong...subbed. :-)

why? can you tell me the reason
Dude really, I am not trying to harsh your buzz. I have seen people fail with one of those lights, but 10? I need to see it.

Just off the top of my head though, 10x24 watts = 240 watts , panels are presumed to be 50% (or less) efficient, so you are putting down at best about 120 watts of usable light over 15 sq' or 8 watts/sq' ... this is a very rough calculation, I need the other LED guys to chime in here.

Heat will likely be a problem with 10 of these, they aren't dimmable, man there are so many other better ways you could have gone. Like Quantum Boards for one. But if you already own the lights then give it a go. The guys on this board could have designed a much better light for you for the same or less money.

Look at some of the Samsung F series or Bridgelux EB strips and COB light builds here on RIU.

I believe 240w of these lighhts are only ~80PAR/w or less because of the used diodes.

@HenshawEukrin
You guys all make the same mistake. You buy lamps, which you believe/hope would be good and then you will find our forum here and want to show your lights. You should make it exactly the other way round! Firstly search some forums get a good knowledge about LED and then buy a lamp or make a DIY.

soooo true , these days its just the constant din of people getting ripped off by mars, roleadro etc I kinda thought we were getting past all that blurple/equiv HPS crap. And I totally get this particular situation, the ad makes it look like you are getting a panel at $0.50/watt , but you are not, you are paying $1/watt for really piss poor diodes, no air cooling (debatable if needed), no dimming etc. I have been on 4 other threads on two boards today , all the same...

Guy(or Gal) bought blurple panel based on equivalent wattage baloney and/or cheap price point
Fails to grow anything other than larf
Gets pissed off, complains to the light manufacturer
Light manufacturer says you need more
Guy (or Gal) buys more blurple
Next failure not so epic, but at this point understands diode types and efficiencies and moves on to better technology having wasted all that money and time.
Its a classic already. I have been at this about 5 years now and there seems to be no end. It is soul crushing because it gives LED such an undeserved bad rep.

@HenshawEukrin we are here to help ya man, if you already bought them, your experiment will benefit others, and you can probably sell them at some point for $10-15 each and get some of your investment back. These will grow plants, no doubt if I put a 8" pot under one with some basil in it, I would get great basil, guaranteed. We aint growing basil here :blsmoke:

Worried about the money?
Shake it off. Could have been thousands. Literally, thousands of dollars.
