If any of you guys out there are looking into buying a volcano but are indifferent bc of the price this vaporizer is the right one for you.
I just got mine in from ebay and have been using it for a week. The price was about $275 bucks. I thought about buying a volcano but I didnt want to spend over 500 bucks on a vaporizer, so I read around and saw good reviews about this vaporizer, so I decided to save the $250 bucks and got the Herbalaire. I have used a volcano many times bc my good friend has one, so this is why I wanted to get a vaporizer.
Anyway, after smoking out of the Herbalaire for about a week I can say that the quality of the vapor is JUST AS GOOD as the Volcano, not better or worse, but AS good.
The really cool thing about this vaporizer is that it works as a bag system and a whip system. The thing comes with a cheap ass air pump that takes about 2-3 minutes to fill a bag, really slow compared to the volcano, but the vapor is still good. This can be fixed easily though with buying a better fish tank pump.
The whip system is what I really like, i take nice smooth inhales of vapor and the high is amazing. You have this cooler feeling bc the back of your throat is not burning from either smoking off a joint or a bong. The high is also more energetic and you dont have that drowsy feeling. This is mainly bc you are not inhaling any of the carcinogens.
It has a temp gauge just like the volcano. I play with mine around the 365-392 range. From the bags I usually get about good three bag fulls. You dont have to grind your bud with this thing. And it comes with a tiny crucible you put your bud in before inserting it into the vaperizor. The volcano has a bigger crucible than the Herbalaire, but after inhaling about 3 bags full of vapor your gonna be pretty stoned....hahaha

The Herbalaire is a great vaporizer. I have smoked out of a volcano many times and this thing is dead even in the quality of the vapor. Plus it acts as a duel system.....bag or whip.
