Here come the tax goodies?

The election campaign has started a year away from the vote. Wait for more tax breaks aimed at the richest Canadians and corporations. The few trinkets and baubles they toss at the working poor (and just plain poor) won't amount to shit in reality. I get so sick of watching the same charade play out ever 4 or 5 years, arrogant assholes who in fact work for us, trying to buy votes with tiny scraps of our own money. Save the money for things that actually matter and buy my vote by adopting an actual democracy where the people have a say. Heave slimey Steve!

Sorry I'm completely oblivious to what this is, could you please explain?
It's a txt credit I believe that amounts to a couple hundred bucks for signing your kids into activities. It's good, just that doubling it is for election reasons not because they actually want to help the kids.

Like the leaves turning colour before winter sets in, governments shower us with goodies paid for with our own money before the election sets in.
