heres what's working for me .bubble/dwc

hello all - new to this site and just wanted to share what i am working with .

cabinet 5x3x2 h-w-d in ft.

- 250 watt cfl
- 2 x 80mm pc. intake fans drawing air thru 2 inch abs pipe.
- 2x 120mm. pc. fans exhausting thru -- 4inch abs pipe all elbowed down and attatched to a piece of straight abs 6 inches long to keep light out.
- 50 litre rubbermaid tub
- (3) 4inch netpots
- 80 gph laguna pond pump
- 25 gal cap. air pump w 1 round stones
-1 honeywell small fan for circulation

from seed 3 plants are now 7-8 inches talland very bushy - going on the 4th week of 24/0 lighting and watering - ( stealthhydro.com on how they water the inner roots)

although stealthhydro reccomends cuuting back the watering to a feww minutes every hour - i have just kept mine going 24/7 and might cut back to 3 heavy waterings during flower .

i am useing advanced nutrients 3 part ( micro, grow, bloom) on a moderately heavy feeding - useing the nutrient calculator and all nutes at 1:1:1 RATIO . i was very tempted to go with the old 3:2:1 ratio but an's literature says they achieved great results on the 1:1:1 ratio and so given what i am seeing i'm glad i stayed to the instructions - it's already known that with hydro you dont need to use excess nutes because we are watering more often and thus providing nutes more often and to the right places .

at the start of week 4 i can already see evidence of plant sex . 2 of the 3 plants are definately different in growth/size/bushyness and the preflowers are pointing towards females - the other 1 is leaning to male although i am going to wait at least another week before i make a final decision.

i want to ask any pro's out there if this early showing of maturity could be due to useing the bloom nutes at equal ratio to the veg nutes . i have never seen my plants show early sex when i didnt use the bloom nutes - it seems almost like the bloom nutes are readying the plant for flower at a faster rate and with a higher percentage of bud sites .?
