Hermaphrodite female for seeds

Hey everyone. We are wondering if it is possible to make a female (clone) plant hermaphrodite? We want to do this so we can get more seeds of this plant. I'd clone it but we are limited on space. Thank u:peace:

yes any plant can become a hermie, clone or seed ! the best method is to make sure ur clone is from a genuine female plant, then when u do hermie ur clone it will produce feminized seeds that will be all female not hermie, u may get the odd hermie out of them but the majority will be female !!! i am currently growing a 6ft hermie not sure if it is a female as it got stressed out quite a bit,i think it is or hope it is, i will find out when i flower the clone of it i have seperate, which i plan on doing soon !

to be honest with u i would just do it to see what happens ! sounds like a good experiment to me like ! let me know what happens !!

best way to herm a plant is to stress it. i have found is an hour of light in the middle of lights off, so it would be 12 hours of light 5 1/2 hours dark, 1 hour light and then another 5 1/2 dark. if your using strain from one of the big seed companys then your find it hard to herm as they try to breed out traits like this.

There are chemicals you can spray in your female plant that will change the sex, gibberellic acid is one of them and I'm sure your local grow shop would have something too..JR

I think you are asking a question???????? so no they will only have a smaller chance of becoming a hermaphrodite. JR

I had a whole crop hermie on me from rain storms in the summer and i grew 3 seeds out of the crop and had 100% female rate.. There is a chance though that there hermie not all are guranteed to be female.. I think they say 75% female and 25% male

A friend from Cali that had a grow house was warning me last night about plants becoming hermaphrodites. Is this a bad thing or is this a good thing? If it's a good thing then how exactly would it benefit you growing hermies?

Bad thing, you do not want any male junk up in your business. Sensimillia is what we are all after (without seeds)

Now if your breeding it might be a different story, but I hope your knowledge base would be far greater seeing how you are basically running genetic breeding at that point....JR
