Hey so I had a hermaphodite plant... and its very odd because on 2 stems, I only have female flowers but on the other 4 I have both male and female. Do you think I can get away with just chopping the four stems with male flowers instead of trashing the whole plant?

you could try it. Just pay very close attention since you will probably get more male flowers elsewhere.
