I have 5 plants in my tent all from blimburn.Cut a lower popcorn branch off as it was getting no light and i didnt have a smoke:} Alas i found 2 seeds in 1 of the buds.I The plants are 5 week into flower out of 10. Strains-gsc,blue dream,grandaddy purple.It was the blue dream i took a branch off. The pistils on a few buds went brown at 4 weeks My question may sound stupid but if you dont know you gotta ask someone.
There are only 3 or 4 buds with brown pistils, the rest of the plant looks normal{whatever that is:}.
Will pollen only pollenate the buds it touches or do i assume the normal looking buds will also form seeds?
Im trying to determine whether to cull the plant now or grow it out and waste electric etc.
Any help would be appreciated thanks.

There were early male flowers/nanners if you already found seeds. The pollen from them has already released and done it’s job. The pollen does not stay viable for long.

However. Whatever stress brought on the reversal needs addressed. Remove the stress many times no more nanners.

So no. It does not automatically mean you will have more buds pollinated but I would look real good for nanners and at the environment and fertilization.

Reversal can be genetic but it is usually heat, light or nutritional stress that causes them.

I have had a problem in the past with the bud sites that don't get much light growing balls, I just remove those from day one now as they never amounted to much and just made trimming harder. look for balls/nanners regularly, they can and will pop up overnight, balls typically at the base of the bud and maybe kinda hidden between bud and main stem. nanners are mainly on the bud itself and can be anywhere.

even a seeded bud can be smoked.

do not fret it will still be great smoke and than replant the seeds

Thanks lads.I moved from canna to chemgen nutes on the advice of my hydro shop.Expensive stuff too. Initial outlay was £135 and ive had to buy more of their version of boost which is £25 per bottle. Had probs from the start as i also changed to led,s.Theres digital hps @400 watts.Mars hydro at 600 watts and a meihzi at 300 watts.From the start the plants were getting white patches on the edges.It looked like dew in the morning but dried white throughout the day. It looked like powdery mildew at first so i treated all plants with canna cure.On reconsideration i now think it was the new nutes they didnt like but upon start of flowering they really picked up. Nice dark green leaves and huge buds.The gsc has 4 cola,s about 3 ft long with a 6 in circumference at only 5 wk of flower.Estimate at least 4oz on that plant alone and the rest arnt far behind it.If ive spent all this money to get a possible 20 oz of seeds il be f----n gutted . Ive smoked seeded weed and its nasty stuff.Guess im just gonna have to grow it out tho.Cant find any balls or nanners and ive been over them all with a 40x magnifying glass.Must add im not a complete novice but seein as im new here i thought it best to post in this section.
