Hermie?

So I've got a DWC grow going with just 1 plant. I've recently discovered a cal/mag deficiency and likely, nute lockout. It's on it's second week of flowering. More details can be found in my grow journal which is linked in my sig, see the first post for more grow info.

I'm currently flushing for a week before I add cal/mag nutes + severely diluted nutes.

Before this whole issue I was seeing pistils and on the 99% of branches I still am. On one branch though it looks like balls so I'm wondering if the stress has hermied her.

My questions are...

1. What does a hermie look like specifically? Just some branches with buds others with bananas?

2. If some branches produce buds and others bananas will the plant pollinate itself and produce seeds? If so, would those seeds be feminized?

3. If two is a no, will anything be viable on the plant? Will any buds produce viable/smokable herb?

4. Would clipping any "male" branches help?

This grow was specifically a learning experience but it was/is a female and I was really hoping to get some nice smokable herb from this. Hoping I didn't screw it up too royally.

Thanks in advance for any input:clap:

Here's how hermaphroditism usually appears:

2. If some branches produce buds and others bananas will the plant pollinate itself and produce seeds? If so, would those seeds be feminized?

-- Yes and yes. They can also pollinate any other female plants in the area.

3. If two is a no, will anything be viable on the plant? Will any buds produce viable/smokable herb?

-- There will still be bud produced that is smokeable, it will be full of seeds though.

4. Would clipping any "male" branches help?

-- If you have a lot of time on your hands and few plants, you could probably manage to lessen the amount of pollen released... but don't expect to be able to manage it well.

@ Swish - lol you I didn't realize that but it's true.

@ Welsh - It did help, thx

@ Tao - Really appreciate the info and glad to know if the plant does fully hermie on me I can still have some smokable herb. It's only one plant so maybe I can reduce the amount of pollen sacks but at the same time I think I may just let it seed it self and just take the time during harvest to remove them and save them for future grows.

Thanks again guys =D
