Hey guys, figured Id post my grow>>>>

Seeing as our grow is legit now I thought Id post it up. "Our", being my fiance and myself.

6.5' x 11.5' x 7' room
mylar on walls
8" carbon filter with 8" vortec 700cfm for exhaust
8" vortec 700cfm intake

2 1000w high yield 6" sealed hood
2 digital greenhouse 1000w electronic dimmable balasts
Both hoods cooled with 6" vortec 590cfm fan

Titan flo n gro 12 site ebb and flow system ( Extremely happy with this model )
hydrocorn medium
sub pump loose in the rez keeping it stirred up
200W rez heater ( moved rez out of room so no more heat issues)

Trying the lucas formula out with GH flora series
going to run 5/8/16 in bud though with kool bloom
also adding Advanced Floraculture 50% Oxygen Bloom (h202)
Using GH ph up and down
Running fresh Maine well water : )

Plants are MOB from clones (10 days into veg in pictures)

That about sums it up. . . Im very happy with the lucas formula so far. I know its supposed to be an RO formula and Ive heard of people having ph fluctuations with it but mine stay spot on, barely ever needs adjusting.

Ill be building another room soon for bud with 4 1000's and 2 titan systems. It'll be super easy to switch plants around for a perpetual harvest. But thats alittle later. . . . . . anyways, let me know what you think

Nice setup but man if i had that much room i would have doubled or trippled the size of that room thats just me though but very nice i was wondering are those vortek exhaust fan quiet im looking for a quiet fan just wondering, nice grow man

If you use quality acoustic ducting (at least 1 metre either side of your fan), you will be amazed at the noise reduction.

The vortecs arn't too bad. I have a fan muffler attached to it which helps alot but In my opinion, nothing helps fan noise more than hanging it with bungies to eliminate all vibration.

Finally got the ballasts out of the grow room and neatened up the wiring

Here is an update. . . . about 10 days into flower

Thanks for pointing out a potential problem, but nope, 100% sealed. Must be a reflection. Are the first two pics working? I can never seem to get them all to work.

Is that a Hanna combo meter? I had issues with that meter going haywire when the ballasts turned on.

Yes it is. I had similar problems. Its definately something with electric current thats messing with it, not sure exactly what though. It only effected the ph readings so I just use it for ppms and res temp.

I like your grow room man it looks like a well-built diy and all your bases are covered. Do you plant to seal it and run co2 in the future? What is good acoustic duct? I use the black insulated 6" duct from home depot. subd up means he subscribed to your thread so they get notifications when there is a new post.

Thank you very much. Yes, Co2 is probably the next step and the room is pretty close to air tight so it wont take much. As far as ducting, right now im just using cheap single walled ducting from htg. I run duct mufflers on most of my fans and it really cuts down the noise.
