Hello, I have a quick question. I have been growing indoors with flourescent lights. I have about 5 one foot 20 watts each on the plant but just the same I have heard that it is not sufficient for getting a big high quality yield. my question is this; I have a very high window which the sun shines through very well, If I can keep this plant under direct sunlight for most of the 12 hour flowering cycle would that help produce more yield than simply keeping it under the fluorescent light? thanks folks!

I have a set up with 19inch flouros. I veg for a few weeks- months I then put them out side in order to get ride of smell and hopefully increase the yeild

Yes, absolutely, SUN light will help increase yield.

I'd suggest that you would get even a larger yield to get some more bulbs, so you can increase the lumens during the VEG cytcle too.

If you add sunlight now, your buds will be denser and tighter, but you will not get MORE buds. You should concentrate on a LARGER Plant to get a larger Yield, and you incrase the plant's size during VEGGING.
What everyone else told you is correct. I'm not arguing or correcting them. I'm just offering advise for the next grow, you can get 65 watt CFLs now for $16 at Lowes or Home Depot that sue a regular socket.
