HID Lamp died... quick rescue -

So my Mh/Hps just died, and the new seedlings were on their veg schedule. I had 2 / 63w CFL's laying around the house, so I made a little space for my seedlings and starts to thrive until I can get a bettler source of lighting. Thinking of getting another HID system since I still have 2 good bulbs left over from the last system. But for now, the girls are Chillin' in my little rigged-set up. Here they are on an old bookshelf :

This is why backups are always good. I have backups for every ballast and every bulb. Sucks getting caught with your pants down.

True. I need to get another ballast, a good one and keep my cheap one as a back up. Always a good idea to keep at least 1 used hps and mh bulb around just in case.

Another thing; buy one type of something and stick to it. Six different sizes of the same part or component will just drive you crazy.

Modular components for the win! This way, everything is a spare for everything else.

PS- The 22 solo-cups contain "Midnight Nectar", an Indica hybrid I made 2 yrs. ago. Afghani (m) x Durga Mata II (f). Full-On Indica with a high Thc/Cbd/Cbn profile. 100% germination every time, and much resin along with a potent, good-night effect. Short flowering time to boot.
