Hmmm...I have a digital ballast that does MH and HPS and then I have a magnetic ballast that does HPS and CMH...
CMHs don't make a huge difference...all it is is mixing the spectrums of light...so with MH you get a lot of blue color, and with HPS a lot of red and orange..and with CMH you get both and all the colors in between...I can't say that I have noticed a difference much since switching...

Screw a MH in it and will light right up....HPS and CMH require an igniter to initially fire which an HPS ballast has. After that its pumping out the same thing to the socket. That same thing fires th MH bulb...higher voltage than the source.....

MikMike .. You lucky you got out :)... And guys a CMH isn't nessecarry hey :), I will be using Just a MH and a HPS, no worries :)... Those CMH bulbs are still new and aren't anything much in terms of Gains That you get :) Thanks for all your help guys :)
