High Times LED GROW LIGHT

I've been doing a lot or research on these LED lights and came across an article in HighTimes.

They did a side by side grow:
1-HPS next to LED
2-MS next to LED
3-CFL next to LED

Although the type of LED they used at the time was 2nd Generation LED Tech, they said that LED's take 1 week longer to flower but yield 12% more bud!

My question is Has anyone tried the 3rd Generation triple light spectrum (blue white, red ), or any LED 's?

I'm going off to investigate, but it might save me time if you could mention the LED lamp(s) they used. It, well, sorta makes a difference. Check out my setup.

What's silly about the UFO? The new Illuminator has blue/red and orange. Supposed to better than the last version. I am interested in LED tech, especially because it's low wattage/energy use and that it runs cool. I leave my place sometime for several days and don't like the thought of hot HID/MH lamps.

There were a couple guys here in teh town I live in that had a whole house as a grow room and one of the HID lights fell and caught on fire and cops found everything

if I had the money to run LED's and knew I was gonna have the same results as with my current setup I was do it.

exactly what I'm afraid of, and I have to live in this dump, haha...it's not just a grow room it's where I cook my soup and wash my rear end, haha!. I just don't like the thought of all the heat in a little space.

dont tell me they dont work man, i just witness it happen, the whole process. i mean it was only a lowryder #2 but it was still good, ill post a pic

im on day 44 of flower. I have 2 guys going each going to sproutem +1 ounze each. Its my first time and i have stressed these out like you wouldnt believe. They are also from bag seed. I am using 5 red spotlight 13watt leds on each plant thats 10 reds and 3 blue spolight leds. I also have 5 cfls setup, 2 3 6500k and 2 2300k.


Results: these plants look sick. Whre i had the blue leds shining i havr about 70 bud tops abou 2 inches tall as side branches that will yeild about 1/2 eighth each. Thats not including the main stalk. The red leds foster giganitc bud formation on the main stalks and the cfls provide heat and lots of supplemental spectrum lighting.

wow.
i dont even think id smoke weed if i ever tasted it grown with led's.
that would make me completly lose confidence of the spirit of the world.
