Highest Yields in Aerogarden

Well everyone this aerogarden system seems to be taking off like crazy. Post your highest yields out of one crop and if you feel like it include your setup for people to use as a reference, seed strains that do well in the aerogarden, etc, etc. Show off your aerogardenabilities:weed:

what ever your doing your doing it right. mine did not yield that much but i was using miracle grow for nutrients. I'm going to be using some better nuts for the next batch. how many plants did u have in one AG?

oh really? do you find it helps them grow faster with more water? it doesnt flood the roots?
when your in flower the plants drink a lot .. 1 plant of mine in the aerogarden the trainwreck... it drinks 24 OZ ow water a day .. when I had 4 plants in it they were drinking between 32-40 oz a day .. Filling it to the brim lets the water last longer ..it wont hurt them ,, add an airstone too

dude try schultz bloom boost that stuff is amazing its 10-60-10 i got fatt buds every time

OK i went up to the ole hydro expo and picked the floragro, floramicro, and florabloom setup. So that problem is solved, but my next question is lighting. Ive heard that with the stock parts the back row of plants receive more light so i have them all in the back. Anyone kept this stock light all the way through bloom stage and everything? how did it go? Is it worth replacin the light? If so what kind of light? Do they make a different bulb that will fit the aero? I have limited closet space/ventilation, and heat would prolly be a pretty big factor. Also what setting do you guys have your AG on? Anyone know the specs for the water recirculation on different settings? DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE SETTINGS! Cuz i cant find shit.

Also a little tip for beginners- Leaving one or two of you pod holes empty will actually create more DO(dissolved oxygen) in your water from the waterfall effect.

How did you keep the plants from out growing the aerogarden, did you start from seed? I had to move to a larger hydro unit; by the time I got it to the new device the root started to grow sideways in the aerograden seed pod adventually choking itself to death. Once I moved into the larger unit I left it in at least 1 inch of water because I figured that's what the plant was used to coming from the aerogarden et al, flooding to 3" every 4 hours of day light. But was this the right thing todo?

Hey I came across that problem (with) "what lights to gop to after the aero graden", my friend the anwser is LEDs minimum power max yeild no heat issues what so ever Not the overpriced ufo either. Go to Ebay the best seller I found so far is ledwholesellers.com: 16 watt all blue boards for greenin, red - blue (3 to 1) for flowering, 50 watt panels are great for a small cabenet operations. Pictures to follow as set up completes:joint:

I've only used aeroponics once, a basic system, 1 plant, yielded about 7 ounces dry weight. Am currently doing some research into making a more advanced aero system, for 2-4 plants.

I'll post some pics of it when I eventually get around to building it :D

Cheers.

Hey guy,

I was in the same situation u are in. since my delux AG didnt have the settings i wanted, i put the AG on a timer when it came to flowering. during the veg i used the AG setting at 24 hour lighing. anyways back to the flowering. i set it on a timer for 12/12 and put an airstone in the tank to keep the water moving to prevent root rot. I then added 2 RED led pannels on each side to obtain the red specturm. the LED were on the timer as well. the only things that were not on the timer were my fans and airstone. As for the lighting being stronger in the back, im not too sure. i lined my box with mylar so the plants can get an equal amount of light all over. u should do that. my plants did grow at different rates but i just let them grow and do their thing. it worked out for me. oh i had 3 plants in the AG by the way. So in a way i used the AG light all the way through with a little halp from the LEDs and got about 7g per plant at 1.5ft tall.

for the nutes use 3 teaspoons per gal of floragrow, 2 teaspoons per gal of micro and 1 teaspoon per gal of bloom for the veg stage. do the opposite for flowering stages. 3 bloom, 2 micro, 1 grow. This is the best ratio for this plant :)

godd luck!
