yo so because i cant rig up a carbon filter b/c of my venting situation im looking into ozone generators. i really need your help on this guys, would the ozone jr make sense in my space or would the bigger one make more sense.

i feel like so many people ask about generators and no one ever gets an answer that helps. someone always brings up the epa regulations and then people argue.

i just need to to know if the ozone jr is going to be a dangerous amount of ozone for either myself or my plants.

I don't know to much about ozone generators, but i do know someone that has used one in there grow. Worked pretty damn good also! And nothing bad happened to the plants or to them. but i did find this information that may help you find what you're looking for.

thanks hazus. that helped make ozone seem a little bit sketchy. i think the potential to kill all of my roomates outweighs the sick air cleaning. shit. i have no odor control option now. pics coming soon, ladies are floooweeering oh so nicely

have you ever looked at that stuff called ona gel? I've personally never used it, but i've heard good things from local shops.. here's a link to a site that sells it gives a lil brief description of what it does. I couldn't find the actual site though =/

yea the ona gel stuff seems like a halfass way to do it i think. i mean sure rock it as a 2nd line of defence but the air isnt clean.

im setting up my new ventilation system right now, we resigned our lease with the landlord so ill be here for at least 2 more years till i fifnish school. time to invest the $$ in my setup!

yes dude! i just set the whole thing up. built a carbon filter , riggd up my fan so its suspended mid air so it makes not a damn sound. ill post up some pics tommorow, all i need now is an intake to replace the space under my door!

So here we have it...my new carbon scrubber. Its a universal activated carbon replacement filter for honeywell (i think) air filter, wrapped around some aluminium screen, and a couple piece of ducting and the elbow that connects it to the wall.

i cut a hole through the wall using one of those vicous looking drill atachments and connected the filter to the inside with a piece of metal tube.

then hooked it up to the exhaust fan, which i suspended mid air with zip ties (the most useful little fuckers ever) and then to the final piece of ducting, which is oh so conveniently sucking air out from under my hood (no glass).

NOT ONLY are temps finally down to 75, but the smell is gone! Damn this has been a while in the making. All I need now is to punch a hole from the closet and into my hallway so i can get the nice fresh air my 6 dude roomates produce. (maybe thats not such a good idea.) anyway, enjoy.

anyone see any issues with the intake being so close to the outake? Is this just recycling oxygenated air???

in an optimal situation you'd want intake on bottom outtake on top. cold are in the bottom and the stale hot air that rises gets vented at the tops.

sounds good hazus, looks like it shouldnt give me trouble. plus i have legit temps and smell control for the first time this grow. next crop is definitely some arans haze 3, turns out a bud grows copious amounts of ganja...stay tuned for pics of flowering

also, please people, if you wanna love or hate on the grow so far id be much obliged to listen

oi oi oi, its been a while. heres some picks from the plants 4 weeks into flower. one of them looks decent but the other crawls along and isnt really budding. some pistils have gone brown prematurely im assuming, and alot of the big fan leaves are yellowing. resin has started producing and the plants are stinking.

also i think i have some mre mg deficiency. all my waterings have been done with water with a pH of 6 so i dunno whatsup. any ideas dudes/

Hellz yea man looking niiiice! So that bushy ass mofo is that the from the lil one that was layering the leaf sets, or did you top/lst it?

actually hazus i didnt top either of em! all i did was pull and tie branchs so that i kept the main cola and got mad buds that normally wouldnt grow. the stems are basically in a gradual "L" shape.

the big bushy brotha was the smallest plant at first, heres a pic mate!

do you guys think that the pistils are dying prematurely? the leaves are yellowing and dying also. they are exactly 32 days into flower.

Here ya go ya'all, pics of the hk on day 44 of flower. These pics will just give you an idea of where its at, and i really need to know an estimate till harvest.

Been watering with distilled water with 4tsp of Big Bloom per gallon about every other day. No mre chemical ferts.

Remember, this plant went through so much stresss and it was never topped its absurd its actually producing buds. Enjoy!
