HIPARGERO 800w

Hey guys, just wondering if the Hipargero 800W is a good light for growing in a 3x3 grow tent?
That is the only best brand I can get in my country.

Also, can someone explain in layman terms what is actual/true power?
As I know although its 800w, the actual/true power is 240W.
A little confused on this part.

All answers are greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Would it work better if I lower the lights?
The light spread would still not be ideal for a 3x3 in flower. You can grow 1 plant in flower under it in a 3x3 because you can center it under the light.. but I wouldn’t risk depriving any extras in there of the light they need.

That's fantastic information.
I'm actually planning to grow just one plant and LST the heck outta it.
Maximum yields from 1 plant.

Ok, but remember you don’t want to spread the plant out the entire space in the tent. You have to stay under as much of the light as you can. The lights brightness drops off at the edge of 2sqft

The actual true power is what matters. I seen it on the internet one day and ran with it. Seems they were right.

this is true you can get a cheap lux meter on your phone its by no means professional but gives you a good idea where to hang and your flower grid. the grid is more of a pyramid shape , slowly losing power the further from the light source you get.

I'm am not a led guy but 240 true watts means just that the light is only 240w. Will it work to flower your 3x3 yes it will but it would not cover the whole tent it would leave space around the edges to maybe get around to tending to the plants if you like .Lowering it would be less coverage while raising it would cause you to lose efficiency
