Thanks! @215Kush for veg you can keep them 18-20" away of you'd like. During flower I kept mine just inches away but could have kept the lights higher.
Start at 12" away and adjust accordingly so you get a nice even spread on everything in the tent. But don't be afraid to get close with these.
@NapalmD Thank you that helped me out a real lot Very much appreciated! I just now put my plants in my 4x4 it's about 30 inches from the canopy giver take a couple inches. I was just going to wait a day and then lower it once they get used to the new light because they were just under a cheap mars 600 I had my plants 8 inches from the canopy in my 3 x 2. So now you told me that I'll work them down to about 25 inches at the end of the day or in a few hours, then I'll go down 4-5 more inches in a couple days.now I will lower it to 25, just for now. But Great information Thanks again! Just lowered it to 25 inches about 27 from my Femmed. I have an auto that's a little bigger so I'll just like accordingly like you told me

Sorry, for the late reply buddy. Too busy currently..
I've used an old T5 desk lamp with reflector and a 11w pond clearer T5 from ebay. 8.90 as far as I remember.. they are relatively cheap.
Ok thanks. I just liked the black handheld holder thingamajig. Couldn't find one like that.

Update.
Bucked em down Thursday night into paperbags. Jarred them up last night with the lids sitting on top, not sealed yet. All nice solid chunks and wasn't really much to trim.

There's 6 quart jars and 2 pints in the box and about 2.5 quart jars worth in a plastic bin drying out a little more till tonight.
I'm guessing between 10-11 zips which for what this pheno did the last 2 runs is pretty good in my book but we'll let the scale talk.
Once they stabilize around 60-62rh I'll do a weigh in. Probably by end of week.
When I can break it up with my fingers and roll a j with it then it's done.

This is the one I use but it becomes more expensive since LED desk lamps are so cheap. Maybe only take a g23 socket, a 11w bulb and a 9-14w T5 driver and build your own is cheaper.

BTW,
I have also a 11w 10% UVB/30% UVA reptile bulb for the same socket and I will try to add it to my small 3sft area. Hope it's enough for one or two ladies, Lol!

Final weight is in!
First let me say I think sog is the best and easiest way to grow that I've done so far.
The trimming was a breeze and the only thing that's time consuming is watering each pot with equal amounts of water/nutes which is not mandatory but I'm anal.

Like I've said before I still love cobs but you can't beat the spread and even coverage of the Quantum boards. Best lighting tech on the market right now in my opinion.

The total yield was 301.1 grams of solid nuggets. Double checked. There's not a single piece that I wouldn't be happy buying at my local dispensery.
200w the first 31 days and 240w the next 32 days so 220w collectively over 63 days is 1.36gpw Not ground breaking but pretty damn good in my book for an average yielding phenotype.

On to the next one. Thanks for following along! We're only going up from here!

Nice report and nice grow. Way more bud then i was guessing. And thanks for mentioning about how all the bud you weighed up and gave numbers for was dispensery grade. Its sucks when everything is thrown at us with gpw with pics and a lot is stuff most would hold back. Total proof these lights rock!! Well done.

i loved my COB SOG. your results look very promising for such low wattage. im retrofitting my cobs and heatsinks into some old xxxl magnum hoods so i can go air cooled and crank the wattage. should be cool. pun intended. heres one of my SOGlings under 37.5 w citi 1212s. dense as all hell. this was with no veg time and straight to 12/12 from clone. real happy since there was about 60 of those in a 3.3x3.5 :)

keep up the good work. i would love to see a 4x8 table full of those SOGlings in the future. that would be cool!

GPW isn't important to some, unless growing for dispensaries/compassion centers then it comes more into play. But I Grow for myself and a few family members so I do as a hobby and because I like to. Anytime the old lady is nagging to much, I have a place to escape to which is my basement. But to each there own, it's what ever works for you.
Happy Growing

Btw: @NapalmD enjoy that Killer Bud:bigjoint:

Girls got a bit bigger mainly the Bubbalicious the Aurora Indicia is a little stressed but she'll be fine and my net will be filled out more in a few weeks before I flip. They just bully the net, I have all the Pvc to build a real ScrOG with 2 inch holes, my next run which will be Mazari or Cheese 3 plant ScrOG in 7 gallon Hempy pots My light is about 27 inches from the canopy which has been working fine. my auto I started flushing today with plain tap water and molasses. and my Lowrider came through on Friday. Did just a little lollipop for now anything that doesn't reach the net gets removed so more energy to top Colas/buds.

Btw: these QB's get great light penetration I have buds that are under the soil on my northern lights auto that I seen when I was flushing today:weed::bigjoint:

A lot of people "in the know" don't....the whole put them in the dark is just another cannabis grow myth. Hell now I hear of people pouring boiling water into the pots to kill the roots and let the plant ferment...........

Ohh, and the "secret ingredient" in many so called "flush" formulas? Magnesium........
Secret ingredient in flush formulas is yucca
