Hollywood Park Friday the 13th

Thought I'd give out my horse picks for tonight all Hollywood park. I'm going to go in depth for each race and will give my bets at the bottom. I have been doing very well in California tracks and now have made a living doing so for the past 9 months, so for good karma I will try and share my knowledge lol.

First thing remember gambling is just for fun and if you can not afford to loose the money, don't take the risk. I follow a strick discipline when it comes to horse racing, without having discipline you will always loose, every dollar counts and must be used wisely. Now I will give my profile of each race, following with the bets that I believe are the smartest for today.

Race One- Post 7M- 2 Year Olds - 4 1/2 Furlongs
Contenders- Miss Fitzy (5), Joseph Joe (4)
Possible Long Shots- Southern Sugar (7), Cayannie (2)

Race Two- Post 7M - 3 Year Olds - 1 1/16 Miles
Contenders- Big Son of a Gun (2)
Possible Long Shot- Bell Blitz (1)

Race Three- Post 8M- 3 Year olds and up- 6 Furlongs
Contenders- Get Funky (2), Dapper Gone (5), Shadow of Illinois (1)

Race Four- Post 8M- 3 Year olds and up- 1 1/16 Miles
Contenders- Hunter Creek (5), Rock Solid King (6)
Possible Long Shot- Nitro Active (1)

Race Five- Post 8M- 3 Year olds and up- 1 Mile
Contenders- Brave Journey (10)
Possible Long Shot- Warrens Today (1), Cookinthisorthat (2), Alala (11)

Race Six- Post 9M- 3 Year olds and up- 1 1/16 Miles
Contenders- Americas Dreaming (6), S C Song Girl (

Race Seven- Post 9M- 3 Year Olds and Up- 6 Furlongs
Contenders- Vaundell (3)
Possible Long Shot- Caught a Flyer (2), Sammartino (1)

Race Eight- 10M- 3 Year olds and up- 5 1/2 Furlongs
Contenders- Los Bomberos (2), Red Tesla (2)
Possible Long Shot- Dancing Yoderler (9)

Bets
Race One- No acceptable bets, when it comes to 2 year old horses, I stay away. They are to unpredictable, it could be anyones game. Use my picks as a guild line but I would stay way.

Race Two- I would go for a few daily doubles. Big Son of a Gun (2) will be a huge favorite so any exactas, or tri's will not pay. I believe it will be more worth it to get a daily double. These are what I will bet:
$40 Daily Double 2/2----------------------I predict will pay 5/1
$10 Daily Double 1/2,5-----------------I predict will pay 10/1 to 20/1
$10 Daily Double 2/5----------------------I predict will pay 10/1
Total Bets $70
Making all three bets give me a good chance of winning one of them. I don't expect to make to much on this race, at least double my money and a little. I am very confident in wining one of these bets, I would like to think it will be the first one 2/2 but have to make the other to make sure I'm not losing.

Race Three- No acceptable bets. Any exactas and tri's will pay to little because of the amount of horses racing and the most likely chance of the favorite winning. Maybe go for a daily double 3/1, but very low bet maybe just $2.00, Nitro Active (1) in the second leg is morning line 15/1 and stands a good chance of winning the race.

Race Four- Not really any acceptable bets. If I win over my predicted amount in my previous bet, I would then take a chance and make this bet:
$10 Win/Place/Show 1 (Nitro Active)- I will also only make this bet if the odds for the horse are higher then 5/1 at post time.

Race Five- Again not really any acceptable bets. If Brave Journey (10), has odds of 4/1 or higher at post time I will bet.
$10 Win/Place/Show 10

Race Six- I will go for a daily double on this race.
$40 Daily Double 6,8/3-------------------I predict will pay 6/1 to 10/1
$5 Daily Double 6,8/2---------------------I predict will pay 50/1
Total Bets $90.00------------- I do not think the $5 bet will win, very small chance but, if for some reason Vaundell (3) is not running at full potential then Caught a Flyer (2) stands a good chance.

Race Eight- No acceptable bets.


I am very positive I'm my Daily Double bets, I don't not expect to make to much today, at least I should double my money, and at most probably quadruple my money.

Total Maximum Investment for the day- $220
Target Return- $600

I say total maximum investment for the day because there still might be scratches and my Win/Place/Show bets all depend on the odds at post time But I will make the daily doubles for sure, well as long as my horses are not scratched. Good Luck!

Well Big Son of a Gun (2) won race 2 so far. Alive on 2 of my first bets
$40 Daily Double 2/2----------------------I predict will pay 5/1------------actual payout will be $160
$10 Daily Double 2/5----------------------I predict will pay 10/1----------actual payout will be $45

Sorta a disappointment, I have more faith in the 2 winning but if the 5 wins it will be a loss. Invested $70 into the race, I guess it is better then nothing, the 2 would be nice, double my money and a bit would be a good start. Hope the payouts will be better for my later daily double. but didn't expect anything big today tough races.

race 3. the 4 horse. 2 dollars win place.

And the five wins. a whole $45 lol, well thats gambling for ya. hope for better luck next race, try to break even for the day

ya i dint do well either. my 3 lost in race seven by a nose to the 6. didnt even think he stood a chance. but i expected the least im never too good when its night time, must be the lights lol, any excuse i can give. and yes in race two the one horse and the six died hard. shitty day, bet 160 and won 45. close race at the end though, if the 3 would of won race eight i would of won 245 for the day and at least profited a little. i thought maybe it was a dead heat, but no 5 won by a nose hair. try again tommorow lol

lol i did have a few of the other races right, guess i just took the wrong bets. in race 5 one of my long shots got second with place bet paying 7/1 and show 3.2/1. alright pay and theres a few others that were possible with my numbers. i stand by my bets there were the safest to make with the chance of a reasonable return, but missed out by a few hairs, n thats the way she works some times but still very enjoyable
