u better drain the water and spray or rense the roots as much as possible clean ur rez real good and wipe it out with alcohol then when u refil it put a ounce per 5 gollons of peroxide and refill with water and repeat it weekly till its gone. how often do u change ur water let me guess never and if u do its not enough lol

im currently soaking the roots in warm water and i have very hot water in the rez i plan on leaving it for a good 20 min . in the meantime i will add peroxide and let it all soak.

and yes this is my first time changing the water in 3 weeks..
how often should i change it?

u dont have 2 let it soak just scrub it out with some soap and put the plants back in once u get it cleaned out and the ph right in ur water

and ur gonna want 2 add the peroxide 2 the water thats growing with ur plants

I whipped up the sludge and cleaned up. Got a lot of shit off the roots by letting them soak. Areogarden cleaned out with little effort and now i have fresh water and one capful of peroxide in the rez .

thanks for the support.
ill dump the water every week now. I might get that hygrozyme .

Just get the hygrozyme. Seriously. It's a really big help in keeping shit like that in control.

fuck hygrozyme, that stuff is nasty.

your problem is light penetrating your container. cover it with a black trash bag to prevent light from reaching the water/roots. that will end your troubles.

fuck hygrozyme?? have you never used it or something?? it's true that you don't want light penetrating your reservoir, but fuck hygrozyme? do you swear by sensizyme or something? what is the better product? or are you just ignorant of the virtues of beneficial enzymes in and around your rootzone?
