Shitty low light needing plants, not MJ.

If you would like to learn why incadesents are not useful check the FAQ section under lighting it has alot of info regarding this very subject!!!!

dont do it,
I had the 70W HPS security light. it cost me $50 and a bunch of headaches. first off the HPS is controlled by an automatic sensor that turns the lights on and off, so U have to find a way to bypass that and hook it up to a timer.

plus unless U can find a way to make the ballast remote, or find a different reflector U wont get great distribution. the ballast went after a week on mine, but that was just my personal experience.

IMHO if U want the best bang for a little buck then U should invest in a 250W HID. Either that or get CFL's without the ballast and all that bullshit.
:peace:
i use these things to veg and it aint bad... just slap some duct tape over the sensor, 24 hour dark baby, how hard is that?

it was a good deal cause it came with both bulbs halide and hps and it included shipping. it works great and they have a 400 watt switchable system for 125 including shipping.
