"home remedy" nutes that are acceptable for hydroton flood and drain

Hi all. This is my first post along with my first grow. I've recently cut a clone from a plant grown from decent mids. The clone is in a rockwool cube that I modified slightl. I shaved down a 4" cube to basically a cylinder shell about 3/4" thick wall around the hole that would bein the cube. And I have hydroton around that filling in a 1quart container. My question is for nutrients what could I formulate to be a sufficient nutrient supply until I can obtain nutes like voodoo juice and such. I've been used to using molasses and epsom salt egg shells and other orgnics for soil grows for other plants. But those aren't exactly watersoluable. Any ideas? Possibly someone could give a recipe of sorts. My water ph is usually 7 even once I've allowed it to breathe for 24hrs. I've been using miracle grow liquid plant food 12-4-8 about 1/4 tsp per 64 oz of water along with 1/4 tsp of unsulfured molases mixed every other feeding.

get a high quality hydroponic food like GH, Fox farm, advanced nutes... there are tons of them out there. I don't think that MG will work to good as a hydro food tho

dyna-gro SHOULD be available at any nursery.. grow bloom pro-tekt and mag-pro... you will outgrow that 1qt container in like 2 weeks.. just buy a 2 gallon plastic planter (maybe a $1) a rootbound plant will be of no use to you.

A bit off topic but worth saying. Hydroponic specific nutes are more marketing than fact. Same as cannabis specific nutes. Sure some are better suited than others but when it comes down too it, nutrients are nutrients. Even Miracle Grow products can produce dank buds when used properly. If you look at some of their different formulas they actually have some nice ratios for growing cannabis at all stages. Just depends on how deep you are willing to dig in your pockets.....

This is totally non-factual. Just try using MG in a flood and drain and see what you get.
