More accurately it is like feeding a fat man - but as big as he is he's not a "food hog" and will not take food from anyone other than myself and my wife.
The plus is he's a cuddle monster & loves to play.

Both my dogs were rescues and were both that way when I got them. My purebred still is pretty skinny as he just got over worms. I have no idea how some people can go out of their way get a dog just to chain it up outside and never feed it or play with it or anything. My boxer/pit mix was actually part of an animal neglect case in which 4 other boxers were chained to trees and had starved to death, he was one of two that didnt die off on his tree. Its a fucked up world... I will be sure to get some pics up of my boys as it seems to be trendy

my dog has recently become the subject of a petition started by some old farts on my block. the dog has only been outside a few times. i dont know how they even saw it. i've been very careful to not let anyone see it.

i have become very fond of this breed, i'm afraid it may become the next rottweiler, or doberman.

there all like that... ive never met a rescue dog i couldnt turn into a big baby with a little time and alot of tlc. ive saved an easy dozen over the years, havent been able to do it much lately for financial reasons, but its amazing how a dog can do a complete 180 in personality when there treated right

ive encountered those types of dumbasses and all they are is dumbasses lol most of those stupid bitches never been around a pit bull

May become the next rottweiler or doberman? Helllloooo they've definitley been that for years now haha, its fucking terrible.. Look into BSL, Breed Specific Legislation, its nuts, ridiculousy disgusting, just plain revolting..

So many breeds are misunderstood beyond just Rotts, Dobs, and Pits it really is a huge problem with our country if your a dog lover.. Anyways, I agree with the previous comments of changing rescue dogs, its a very rewarding experience and a pretty simple thing to do if you have owned a dog before or raised a puppy.

Good luck with your idiots I hope nothing happens to your pup.

Aww I hate the BSL laws they are fucking ignorant! Its not the breed its the owners!!!!!! Its like that with any breed! Unfortunately some people think its cool to fight pits and other dogs and treat them like shit and that in turns hurts the whole breed and responsible pet owners =( I love pitts I will always stick up for them! I love all the pups on here I just want to give the kisses and hugs

If Your dog bites a tresspasser (even inside your home) YOU ARE responsible. There are some exceptions but must check local laws. Completly fenced in property, locked gates visable beware of dog signs etc.
I had all the above and still had to pay $900 for a kid to get his ass stiched after he broke a window and was throwing shit out to his partners when my dog got him. (he had to chew through the garage door to get in LOL). Then to top it off my homeowners droped me because of the dog. So just cover your ass and do some research. Later

dogs are the shit, literally. they shit all over the yard. at first i was turned off by having to pick up shit from the yard. but i just do it everyday, and dont get any surpises(stepping in it).

that's chewy. he's a damn solid dog. He's a year old this month and he's still growing. Runt of the litter, mom was a blue nose and dad was a brindle pit(I assume he was a amstaff, but he got taken to the pound before we could see him)

Oh it gets better, the old man is trying to get my boy put down for bitting his thief of a kid. I told him I would put him and his damn kid down before my dog. And No they don't come close, they thought they were safe because he was in the garage hehe.
