Homebox XXL Round 2 - Silver Skunk

This thread is going to be Round 2 in my Homebox XXL.

I am moving next week to a new location. For the first 4-6 weeks I will be growing out the new plants, which are Silver Skunk, and taking a batch of clones for round 2 in my Homebox XXL.

Strain is Silver Skunk
Homebox XXL for flowering
2 x 1000w HPS in 6" Air cooled reflectors
250w HPS for veg
2 x 13lb Carbon Filter
AC/Dehu
Humidifier


These are the Silver Skunk plants I am currently growing for mothers. Once I move next week they will be put under my 250w HPS.



Stay tuned for a detailed walk through of setting up the Homebox at the new location and getting her ready for round 2.

Just finished moving today. After moving I felt like SHIT.

I think it was just from not eating all day..


I will be setting up the 250w HPS and a veg closet tomorrow...or later today.. And I will start growing out the 2 Silver Skunk plants so I can get some clones ready for round 2.

I set up the temporary veg area today. I dont have a drill so I couldnt hang my 250w yet. The pics are pretty shitty but I have 2 x 43w CFL hanging over the 2 SS plants and my 250w HPS is sitting vertically above them to one side till I can hang it properly.





I didnt feel like doing much today...lol. I got some time to relax which is kinda nice. The next 4-6 weeks all I have to manage is 2 plants. And with the MG organic that holds so much damn water I only water once a week with plain PHed water...God Im lazy...

At least I got some time to relax and set everything up properly how I want it. I have a 2 bedroom for the grow now instead of a 1 bedroom, that should make things a lot easier as far as space, and an extra window is a great thing to have in a condo grow.


I will be doing a better walkthrough this time. Setting up the tent properly with all the gear, Managing air flow, and just getting prepped to flower 32 plants.

I set up the light and finished the veg room today. Its a pretty big closet, I could prolly pack 20 plants in there if I needed to but I will only ever have 2-4. Thats all I need for clones.

Heres a couple better pics, the SS is nice and healthy, She should do great for round 2.

Been a couple more weeks, the plants are getting HUGE. Probably another week and I will take a batch of clones for Round 2.



They are starting to form their second set of shoots. Once these get a bit bigger I will be taking them for clones along with the tips of the larger branches.



You can see that these babies have come a LONG way from those shitty little clones in the Tupperware container. Nothing but fresh water for feeding and MG organic for soil.



There will be more updates more often once things get going.

....yeah, been checking here waiting to see what's up....Looking real good too, as seems to be the norm in your grow!

Yeah the new strain is growing nicely, hopefully she clones good.

I'm kinda hatching up a new idea. Im gonna call it "The Hotbox"

Basically its going to be a box with flanges for 4"-6" ducting around the sides, and a big fan inside that will duct out a single 8" up top.

Its just going to be a simple, portable solution for me to exhaust several things out of one window without building a box over the window. (I am renting)

Its also going to have a passive port on it so it should cool the exhaust a bit as well.

So with it I will duct the heat from my AC and the tent into the "hotbox" then the hotbox will pump the hot air out of a single port out the window. I will just run ducting to the AC window adapter that came with my portable AC.

Hmmm? Very cool<pun intended..idea bro!tink I will try that when I do finally rent a place for the girls using 3 different tents,(Homebox Xl,(Non-auto-flowering strains) Homebox XXL,(Auto-flowering strains) & 2 Clone boxes,(1 for Mothers & Clones, the other for breeding autos) plus portable A/C....
