Honey oil Question?

when getting ready to extract the honey oil do i grind the weed to powder or just a litttle grinded or not at all?

I just grind it as if i was going to roll a joint with it.

oh ok i kinda grined half of it so did i fuck it up or is it ok to use the powder shit
