Hopefully Easy Questions

Hey all. I'm extremely new here so if don't do something the way you guys normally see things I do apologize. Anyway heres my questions.
1. I splashed my plants with some fert while watering and got a few burns on my leaves. Unfortunately, I also managed to burn a hole right on the top of my new growth. The leaves are still growing but looking a little funky. Anyone have any experience with this and any idea of how much damage I could have caused?
2. I had a small one speed fan blowing on my plants in their grow box and I believe it caused one of my plants to grow weirdly. The leaves started growing in swirls. Almost like an underwater plant might. Anyway, I repositioned the fan so its not directly blowing on my new groth but i was wondering if anyone knew if it could be an issue. Any help would be great and as i said
I'm extremely new on here so take it easy on me and I hope for this to be my first of many posts to come. And as soon as I can I'll get some pic up on here of my set up and my babies. :peace:

HI Mkmkli49

Welcome to RIU.

Splashing water on your plants is not the end of the world but should be avoided due to the light being magnified through the water droplets. Keep an eye on your plants and the new growth should start coming out fine.

I personally keep an oscilating fan moving between the plants and the lamp. If you are aiming the fan straight at them you could cause wind burn. IF you do not have an oscilating you can aim the fan to blow at the side of your grow box so that it passes over your plants from being redirected off the side of your box.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. Yeah I keep an oscilating fan outside of my grow box moving fresh air in and stale air out. The little fan I had pointing directly at them was the culprit. I moved it so the plants are getting more of an indirect shiver as opposed to blowing in the wind. Hopefully this will remedy the issues. I'm positive I'm worrying about it too much as this is my very first time ever putting seed in soil. I'll keep you guys posted and let you know how they're doing.

i hope you know not to fert./feed them till they are a month from sprouting... You could also be over watering, wait till two inchs of the soil is dry before u water...

I usually wait until a little more than that is dry generally. Pretty sure its not an over watering issue. I am trying to keep them as dry as possible to promote resin production. I did however start feeding them at ther 2 week mark. I gave them less than a half dose. They're now 3 weeks old, huge by comparison, and doing great other than the issues I asked about on here. Im assuming andn hoping moving the fan will make a difference. Only time will tell now....
