Hot temps cold roots

Are there any benefits to adding cold nutes or ice cubed nutes to reservoir? Can the plant withstand higher temperature with cold roots?

I would think so but the roots temperature threshold should not be breech. I would think around 58 degrees.

Ive heard temps can go way past 90 to even 100s as long as res stays chilled idk if this is true but doesn't hurt to try.
Just remember well tended outdoor cannabis can be of the highest quality
Dude indoor growers in Cali have had temps get to 110. Under the ground the temp is a constant 56-58 degrees. Im sure some container gardeners outdoors have experienced much lower root temps than that. It's a tough plant. If your room temps are in the 105 range and your temps are at 57ish at the root zone they may thrive. In the hot summer once I started feeling sick so i put my feet in ice water to bring my core temp down. Shit works. Now i crave that ice water in the summer. I put a towel down next to a beer cooler and stand in it for a couple of minutes.

The main issue is that the warmer the water the less dissolved oxygen it holds. Passed about 85°f it hardly holds any. This suffocates the roots and can also lead to infections.

For these wild tx days im sure we will be up in the 105 sometime soon. Ive had issues with heat but never knew cold nutes was a benefit. From now on im storing nutes in fridge and thanks guys great advice.
