First set of true leaves are coming out. the rock wool cubes started turning *more* green. so i covered them up with some small peices of rubber to kill the algae. i also have a late bloomer, so far 9 of 12 germinated.

the seeds are fine thats what i used to grow my sprouts. i just gutted a pepper and planted them. so i dont see why not. i do not have any more of them but i started growing

3x eggplants
3x cherry tomatoes
4x jolpenos < i never could spell good

I blame my dislexeia and growing up with spell check

had 2 more late sprouts, sp 11 of 12, thats damn good for a random amazon retailer. showing their first true leaves and starting to turn a dark green. boy do these things grow sloooooow. i added about 20ml of bioroot from GH to 1L of water, added to the 8L res. does anyone have any experience with BioRoot? its made by General Hydro and has an NPK 1-1-1. its supposed to increase root activity, im using it to help root clones, and root seedlings, so far i can't tell much of a difference, but ive got too little experience to tell just yet. clones going on 7 days and still not showing roots through the rockwool cube.

i fear algae may start to overcome my res, should using RO water help? i have an RO machine, but since i have good water (100ppm out of a well, most of that is sand im sure) i havent bothered.

Well its not like you will stuff one of these peppers with meat and bake it. The thing is that a few of these peppers will make you a gallon of incredibly hot but edible hot sauce. and for a chili head you crave the sweat every time you eat. regular hot sauce just taste like vinegar sauce now. the only thing i think is still kinda hot is a good habanero sauce . so by making hot sauce with these chilies i will be able to feel the heat like the first time i ate hot sauce

I guess you build up a tolerance to hot things. And turn into a crack head for hot stuff

i dunno, i guess its just to say that i grew the hottest pepper in the world. its not very common around here, and we get an influx of tourists every year, so i was gonna try to hustle some to unexpecting tour-errists.

oh, and that too.

ROFL! This is SOOO TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Jalapeno's are still my favorite,... I'll take em to work and eat one raw with lunch. Occasionally I'll do a Habanero. I took some Hawaiian peppers in one day and lit up a couple of the other guys that love hot stuff! ;)

day ..... 26...ish

so they are still sitting in the bubbler, i dont wanna move them till they have some roots and some girth to them. just did a water change to control algae (wich wasn't in the res, only on the surface of the rockwool) but a i did start feeding them 3ml each of gro, micro, bloom from GH Flora series. and about 15ml of bio root, and a dash of epsom salt, looking for some intense rootage inorder to transplant them to the PVC NFT system.

well here they are.
