How am i doing?

Hey all, first grow with Promix and i was wondering if any seasoned grower could let me kno if im where i should be..
Like i said im usimg promix#1 and added 25%perlite, 5 gallon buckets, 400w hps, beginning of 4th week from when i switched to 12/12 but 2 weeks from actual flower....feeding it every other day and im using Epsoma 1.2.2 ph at 6.3 i used fish emulsion (5.1.1) and worm casting thru veg.....so what say you? Any tips? I really could use alittle guidance guys thanks!

*edit 2 of the plants have a third potting soil...as an experiment

Sorry if this sound daft dude,but you count the flowering time from when the plant. Was put on 12/12 off,

For eg, Monday start of flowering then the following Monday ,would mean that you are 7 days into flowering.The plant looks like it's around 4 week so your pretty much on the ball,have you added a ok spike yet,add something like p-k 13/14 and those buds will swell or overdrive from advanced nutrients.

No not of yet....saw some bloom boost at the hardware store but wasnt sure when i should start it....it is Scotts superbloom 15.55.6 does that sound like something i could use and if so how much and how often should i administer it? Thank you for responding btw

Not exactly. This isn't standardized. And a lot of breeders flowering times reflect the flowering period starting at the first signs of flowering, about 1.5-2.5 weeks after the swap to 12/12.

A lot of growers start timing flower as soon as the swap to 12/12 and then are confused as to why 8 week strains don't look finished at 8 weeks.

Looks like you're on the edge of a couple deficiencies. I would feed less often. In soil I feed once every other watering. But water only once or twice per week-week.5

Not with me I don't even really use a time frame,unless posting pictures I go when the plants are done ,don't even mark weeks down well I do start .i use the 2nd and 5th has nothing more than big bud week two pk week 5,I never go on what a seed bank tells you is the time frame because it's different for each grower,the weeks are only marked down for adding or stopping certain nutes,but it never harvest to a time frame I harvest when the plants are done.

I agree with letting your plants finish. I was speaking specifically regarding breeders and their specified flowering times vs timing your flowering from day of 12/12 start.

That sounds like slightly high nitrogen for flowering, isn't it? And is that amount of phosphorus safe? I dunno, because I've never applied that much to my plants.

Ive read doing this once in early flower is great...but im not sure about the NPK value...just read Bloom Blast is great once

Yes, that is what i read, and that is what makes more sense...every strain doesnt preflower as quickly as others so it makes more sense to calculate flowering time when the preflowers begin to show....im not really concerned with when they will be finished...more concerned with if they are where they should be at this stage

Yeah they look fine. How much light do you have one them? You may be pushing n tox, but it doesn't look like it's affecting them at all ATM.
