Yes feed at every watering which is every other day drain to waste ph and ec are good coming out grown on coco. 400 watt mh 18 inches away.
I can see checking ec run off to see how hot it is but the ph what does that do for you? You do anything with that number? I hope not cuz as soon as you try to change it your working against the plant. Water in at 6.5 and leave it alone as far as ph goes.

Lookin good, but I would let the shorties stretch a bit more before defoliating. The tall one in the back left might be ready though.

I'm not a fan of defoliating persay. If you want to trim a few leaves that are blocking bud sites thats one thing, and it might help a few sites get more light. Otherwise your just cutting off part of the plant that it grew to do a job. I greatly prefer LST and other low stress methods of training. You could use some string to tie down the branches some to open them up and let more light in.

How far are you guys keeping an air cooled lamp at 600w from the canopy? Lights are coming on soon
I have an air cooled 1k and it's usually 12-14 inches from the canopy. I used to have a 400w as well and the plants would almost touch the glass.

I would think a 600 you could do 10-12 inches once the plants are established. You might start out a little higher(like 18-20 inches) and lower it over a few days to let the plants adjust to the new lighting.

What are your temps at canopy?

I don't honestly know what they are at the canopy, its been years since I"ve checked that. I can hold my hand at the canopy level and it only feels warm so I know its not too hot. I've also got other fans moving air in the room so the air isn't just baking in the light.
