How big a tent for 6 veg plants in probably 5 gallon cloth pots?

Assume 60" or taller height tent. 2x4? Too small? Thanks.

I'd look for a 3x5 or 4x4.
2x4 would work if you kept them small but is that really what you want

4x6 or 6x6 , minimum. I grow 4 plants in a 4x4 tent in 5 gallon buckets and they are crammed in there tighter than is good. This next time I think I will only do 3 plants to keep them from getting as squished together.. There is no room for light or airflow with 4 healthy plants in a 4x4. No way you will get 6 in there.

He is just veg'ing them in there

Here's my 4x4 with 4 Acapulco gold about a week after flip.


I got that stand up fan and clone dome down there wasting space, for veg I had five but dropped my carbon filter on one and crushed it. Hence the clones LOL.
If you do get a 6x6 you could flower them in there too, but if you're going perpetual 4x4 or 4x6 would be best depending how big you like to veg.

These plants are all in 5 gal fabric bags with 15" trays underneath. Tent is 5x5, I can fit 12 to 16 bags in tent this photo show 10. Plants are average 4 ft, with light almost maxed out near top I flip these at 15 " and get a good stretch out of the plants. So how big do you want to grow them and will your flower tent be big enough for them after the stretch?

Hell I had 2 grow me out of tent in 2x4. I mean I vegged the shit out of them, but you'd NVR get 6 and make any yield. They eould have to be small.


Edit: unless you got a good strain for sea of green. Could make some weight.

You could do a bunch of 1 gallon smart pots. Could prob get 10 in 1 gallon.

I love the 315 cmh. Next year I will get a 2nd 315 to fill the tent

Wow 15" to 48" after stretching. Were those sativa dominant?

For the OP. We have a 4x4 that has 4 very bushy indica in 5 gal pots and 3 lengthy sativa in 1 gal. All smart pots, coco and being top fed dtw. The space is tight but so far in flower they have been sharing the space.

Some are but i get a good stretch even with indicas

You can fit max of 2 5 gallon pots in a 2x4. You can get 6 3 gallons in a 2x4.
