How big can I make my clones? I know its good to GI with shorter shoots, but I've got a tall plant that is really developed that I want to clone.

Also, do I need to place my cuttings inside of a humidity dome? I remember doing some clones in solo cups in the past, but I forgot if we used a humidity dome.

What is something diy/ghetto that could be macgyved into cloning a couple of plants?

-Take big cuts from healthy moms (6 inches or more)

- tips cut back 30%, 50% on large fans

- soak cuts in phd tap water over night to assure they are well hydrated

- soak 2 inch rockwool plugs in 350ppms worth of base nutes and a ph of 5.7 for 30 minutes

- flush sheets with a fresh solution of the same strength and ph

- dip in clonex and put in plug, not using the premade hole, but right off to the side of it (premade holes alow to much oxygen in)

- don't overcrowd the humidity dome. Leaves touching each other is a no no.

-Keep lights far away from dome. Too much light can slow rooting and stress plants.

- I spray the inside of the dome only, never the plants, and keep the dome wet until I see roots after about 5-6 days, then I open top vents.

You could try to make a humidity dome off a pop bottle or something similar I suppose.

Humidity dome + heating mat + thermostat will be your best bet, good luck and happy growing.

you can cut up to the point the stock is calcified. so really big if you want. I often take cuts with side growth already.

I don't even use rooting stuff (hormones)

just clonex solution (which might have hormones) and clear REZ.

just slice / trim leafs about the size of a soda pop, and add the collars.

Clonex contains rooting hormones
