I like planting cartots early in the season to break up the harder soil levels and make it easier for the tomatoes taproots to get deepat those nutrients and makes then more drought resistant, i also plant lettuces and leafy shade loving plants at the base of ny tomatoes as a live mulch it keeps the soil cool and imhelps the lettuce griw even during warmer months. Chives and marigolds keep the pests away and. As well as sage, basil, garlic and onions as long as they arent actually in the sane ved ( dobt get along well in my nevk of the woods lol) oh and peppers love the. Warm temps of summer but if it gets too hot theu really suffer, not so if you keep then shaded by big tomatoes. A few more but those are off the top of my head hope these helped (p.s sorry about the typos im on my phone)

They should be fine with the tomatoes. If you cage your tomatoes it will be no problem at all, if you let them spread out along the ground they will probably get about 4' in diameter. But even in that case your plants will be taller than the tomatoes so it won't be an issue. If the tomatoes are already established, it will take some attention to keep the tomato vines away from the cannabis plant as it is growing, assuming the cannabis you plant is only going to be a few inches tall.

Either way, you may just have to train and prune your tomatoes a bit to keep them away from the cannabis until it gets tall enough (2' maybe) to have enough exposed out of the top of all the tomatoes. I guess one should also take into consideration the spacing of your tomatoes...

A good tomato fertilizer like happy frog did good for both my tomatoes and cannabis.
