How cold can I go?

No central heating on this winter to avoid getting murdered by the energy supplier has left me behind on a grow. But with the spring seemingly here early I have started germinating by my wood stove.
By the stove I can get near the 77F/25C to germinate. However then the grow room might dip to 59F/15C. Some more heat in a 6'x3x3 tent with a 315W bulb.
Seeds are 3mos auto's and by the middle to last month of grow the temps should be good.

I regularly get into the mid fifties in the shop without too many issues.........you may see some yellow edges and a slowdown in veg.

That might be a problem with autos imo unless you’re ok with small plants. How many beans have you started? Any way to move tent closer to heat

Mr buddy tent heater in the grow in elec is to pricey? I think a pound bottle of propane is around 5-6$ us

Moving tent is not possible. I started 2 of each strain to get 2 plants. Last grow had similar seeds and 4 plants which was too much. My top buds went when the mid and lower was still white. Clearly a lighting lack below.

Im not sure if your trying to avoid elec cost or oil cost but all i can think of is maybe a small propane htr in grow room. Like mentioned its not a terrible temp but will be slow and with an auto…. not sure that’s going to be productive

I have a couple of small chinese heaters from this winter, you think maybe while there still small? Good idea.

I only asked how many because of your tent size two should be fine

I get what you are saying. Maybe a small space heater to start in the tent. By the mid grow temps will be good but I guess a cvold first half will limit production, roots. Maybe continue with more that 2 and see how it goes. Thanks

Im not really an auto grower but i do know you cant stop the clock on them so id do everything I could to make them happy. Im not sure if you have a room and a tent but if tent is warmer id just do that if its only two plants

Yes a 6'x3x3 in a small room. If it was legal here I would not do autos. Probably outside.

Nothing wrong with them just not what id pick in less than ideal conditions. Can’t stall them

I agree, because when I reach into the jar and grab some buds, where they grew don't matter. I am just in the overthinking stage right now.
